Little Angel
came to CAWS with her seven brothers and sisters.  It was obvious right away that this little girl wasn't well.  A visit to one of our gifted Vets told us the sad news.  Angel was born with a serious heart defect and would probably not live long.  We were told that she would probably go to sleep and simply not wake up.

Angel was taken in by one of our amazing fosters who wanted to make sure that she had a home for as much time as she had.  Angel had to rest most of the time but would always be looking for her 'Mom' as she lounged in her special window seat.  She may have had a weak heart but she had a strong purr.  She passed away today in her foster mother's arms. Angel, you will be missed by those who loved you...

I adopted Coco in 2003 He has become an adorable, loving very close pet and dear friend. When I adopted Coco. I remember the CAWS people telling me to “give Coco a chance and not to bring him back”. Well, I never understood what they meant by that because Coco has been a life saver, and I know that he has thought of me as a life saver as well. I could say that He saved me from being alone and I am sure He will tell everyone how happy he has been ever since that day I took him home with me 7 YEARS AGO……wow has it been that long already. He is my best friend and Coco tells me everyday how thankful he is that I came to take home with me.

Coco is very happy, healthy and we would both like to share this moment (now that he is 12 years old) to say THANK YOU!
